Irish Sport Manager Support

Something broken, or just a question? Email ism@loopheadlabs.com and a real person reads it. The Steam discussions are the other good place, and worth checking first in case somebody has already hit the same thing.

Reporting a bug

This game generates its whole world from a number, which means a good report is genuinely reproducible on our machine. The most useful thing you can send is:

  1. The world seed, in Settings under "This world", with a button to copy it.
  2. What you did and what happened instead, in whatever detail you have.
  3. The save file if you still have it (see below), which lets us load the exact world and stand where you were standing.

With a seed and a save, most things can be reproduced exactly rather than guessed at.

Where your saves live

Saves, settings and any installed story packs are here:

%APPDATA%\com.loopheadlabs.irish-sport-manager

Paste that into the address bar of any Explorer window and it will take you there. Saves are plain files: copy them anywhere to back them up, and copy them back to restore. Uninstalling the game does not remove them, but do keep your own copy of anything you would hate to lose.

System requirements

OSWindows 10 64-bit or later
ProcessorAny 64-bit dual core
Memory4 GB RAM
GraphicsAnything DirectX 11 capable; integrated is fine
Storage100 MB
AlsoMicrosoft Edge WebView2 runtime, already present on Windows 11 and on any Windows 10 with Edge

It is a simulation with a 2D pitch view, not a GPU-hungry game. It will run on more or less anything made this decade.

Known issues

The Steam overlay does not open with Shift+Tab. This is not a bug we can fix. The game draws its interface through Microsoft's WebView2, which renders in a separate process that Steam's overlay cannot attach to. Achievements, Cloud saves and Workshop all work normally; only the in-game overlay is affected. On Steam Deck the overlay is drawn by the system instead, so it is unaffected there.

Steam Deck is untested. For the same WebView2 reason, we make no promises about the Deck yet. If you try it, we would genuinely like to hear how it went.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Valve, not by us, under the Steam refund policy: generally within fourteen days of purchase and under two hours played. There is also a free demo, so you can find out whether the game is for you before spending anything.

Modding and story packs

The story bank is plain JSON and packs are shared through the Steam Workshop. If you are writing one and something in the format is unclear, email us; we would rather explain it than have you guess.
